TMP™ Task 6. iSAT Delivery
iSAT Delivery integrates the results of all Characterization and Knowledge Mining tasks into a structured format that corresponds to the iSAT interface. We combine the Characterization report, Parsed Source Code data (e.g. for tracing cross reference relationships), Flowcharts, Business Rules, Translated Variables, and possibly UML in a single repository, ready to be shipped to the client along with the iSAT interface.
For example, the iSAT includes a screen for viewing CRUD information. CRUD stands for Create, Read, Update, and Delete. This screen shows all instances in which a data file or table is used by any program.
Another iSAT screen traces everywhere in the application a selected variable is used. Among other uses, this function enables quick and easy impact analysis for program changes, finding everywhere a given variable is impacted in all programs.
The iSAT repository and interface can be installed at the client site on standalone desktop computers or in a client/server environment, where users can access the iSAT repository. Clients can make the iSAT results available to any number of employees.
We refresh these repositories as often as needed or requested by our clients to reflect application changes as often as needed. Many of our clients have their iSAT refresh performed monthly.
iSAT Delivery Output:
- A fully populated iSAT database, delivered to the client with the iSAT browser software, installation instructions, and training on iSAT use.
